The Ultimate Natural Wine Case

Wine is at the heart of everything we do here at Gladwell’s. So much so, that we converted our former bank vault into a wine cellar and tasting room, that houses hundreds of wines from our favourite winemakers.

We are passionate about championing winemakers whose approach is to intervene in the process as little as possible and work in with a harmonious and respectful attitude to nature. Something we find truly exciting about natural wines is their ability to tell a story with a sense of place and reflect the winemakers personality. The Natural Wine case is the perfect gift for friends or family who love wine.

We’ve carefully curated an incredible case of six bottles, sourced from our favourite wine makers, to enjoy this festive season. There is something for everyone in this case. Six wines, including two sparkling, two white wines and two red wines.

What are we drinking?

Ai Casali Prosecco, Glera
A pale green in the glass with a lively mousse. Look for pleasant aromas of bitter lemon and pear on the nose with subtle waxy notes. On the palate, dry and refreshing with hints of green apples and green herbs. The finish is clean and zesty.

Bablut Cremant D'Loire, Blend
Elegant aperitif with fine bubbles and a toasty brioche depth. Each variety bring’s a gift to the party: Chardonnay lifts the fruit, Chenin Blanc delivers saline minerality, Cab Franc the violets and Grolleau Noir cracks a little pepper. A real treat.

Gran Cerdo Blanco, Field Blend
A silky white blend from Rioja. A versatile white with lots of soft orchard fruit on the palate, like white apples and pears, with lovely texture and a dry, refreshing finish.

Landron Chartier Muscadet, Melon Bourgogne
A fruity but dry wine with ripe and mineral character. Classic Muscadet with added intensity. Great by itself or with seafood.

Topette, Grolleau
Domaine de Bablut is located in Anjou in the Loire. The grape variety here is Grolleau, which produces a lively refreshing wine full of character. Think red fruit and fresh herbs.

Ciu Ciu Rosso, Montepulciano & Sangiovese
A generous, juicy and organic red from the Marche region in Central Italy. Succulent berry flavours with a gentle spiciness, soft texture and a mere hint of supple tannins. At it's best young and fresh it's a wine which shines even more when served very slightly chilled.
